I purchased a TV (Weston WEL-5100/ WEL-5101 122 cm (48”) Smart Full HD (FHD) LED Television) from Weston Electronics, Noida through www. Snapdeal.com vide order No. SB8CA6/17-18/836; dated: 02-July-2017, but since last 20 days it is out of order. I contacted Weston service center and after a very tiresome follow up they replaced a component of the main board in the TV, after which the TV worked just for 30 minutes and stopped working again. Now, even there is no display and the TV screen is totally black. I contacted the service engineer of Weston Company who repaired my TV, and he says that the entire mother board has to be replaced and this will again take another 15 to 20 days. What is the guarantee that even after 20 days of waiting the TV will work properly, because I feel that now even the picture tube is burnt depending upon its display. In this situation even if the complete mother board is replaced, I doubt that the TV will not work. Hence, I requested for the return of the product and complete refund from Weston Company. As they are not responding, I am forced for the intervention of Snapdeal who dealt with the selling of this product. However Snapdeal also refused to help me. When Snapdeal is selling the product, it’s their bound duty to look into customer satisfaction. The product is under warranty and within the warranty period, I am experiencing such a troublesome service both from the seller and the dealer. I do not want any replacement, because I cannot wait. I will straight away purchase another TV from the market right now.
