My Grandpa has been taking treatment for cardiac problems in PGS Hospital, RS Puram, Coimbatore. Treatment was given more than a month. I have accompanied him to the hospital many times during the treatment and will be there for almost one hour daily. Doctor was good and the treatment was also going on good. I was very much annoyed by the behavior of a nurse in the hospital. She was very rude and was treating all patients in the same way. She was talking to all patients without respect, shouting and was using abusive mannerism. When asked about her behavior and words, got a reply from her that she is dealing with thousands of patients everyday and cannot talk to each and every patient politely.Patients are coming to the hospital for the physical and mental well being and cannot be taken for granted. Nurses are supposed to respond to the queries of patient politely (if not, at least respectfully). I do not know her name .People who have been to the hospital would have obviously noted her (one with a specs among the three nurses in hospital). Hospitality is more important for a growing hospital and I request Dr. Prabhu to definitely look in to this issue.
