INTENTIONAL DELAY IN SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM REGISTERED ON 08.06.2020Sun, 02 Aug 2020 - INSURANCE - Punjab

Dear Sir / Madam,
With reference to above, this is to state that I have purchased a VIDEOCON LED on 17.02.2017 from Deekay Electronics, Beantpura, Samrala Chowk, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana vide B.No.RCHD-3998 for Rs.27000/-.
This is to inform you that I have been enrolled as a member under the Extended Warranty Program supported by Group Asset Protection Policy No. OG-17-9999-9960-00000013 (“Extended Warranty Group Policy” issued by Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited).
Now Videocon LED is out of order and I have got a complaint registered with the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd. on 8th June 2020 in respect of above problem.
Insurance Company (Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company) has vide its e-mail 17.6.2020 has settled the above claim against cash loss of Rs.12,492/-.
I have, vide my mail dated 22.06.2020, informed the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company that the above settlement is not acceptable to me due to huge deduction from the claim amount keeping in view the date of purchase of the LED.
I have also informed to the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company to pay either Rs.20000 as cash loss or get the LED repaired to my satisfaction.
Till date, neither claim has been settled nor any reply has been given to my e-mail and also no action regarding repair of said LED has been taken by the Insurance Company.
Now I have to inform you that the aforesaid LED is not working and is out of order. Please register the claim and depute your surveyor to assess the loss and settle the claim.
You are humbly requested that directions may kindly be issued to the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company for settling the claim, at the earliest possible, against cash loss of Rs.27,000/- as it was purchased at Rs.27,000/- on 17.02.2017.
